Register for the Annual Mustard Seed spin on Oct 28, 2018

CM Balavihar is organizing a bike ride as a fund raiser for the local Mustard Seed School, which is a school for the homeless kids in Sacramento.  We will be riding 13 miles on the American River Parkway on Oct 28, 2018 and will be presenting the school with the checks after we finish. For 12 years, a bike ride called The Mustard Seed Spin was organized but was discontinued last year. Our Balavihar participated in this event for 10 years. In order to continue this wonderful activity we have decided to do it on our own on an informal basis, as a way of promoting bike safety, using our local natural resources (the American River Parkway) and supporting a good cause.

What is required:

  1. All riders should have a functional bike & helmet and willingness to ride.
  2. Contribution towards the Mustard Seed School ($35/rider or $25/rider if more than one member in the family).

The riders will meet at the end of Jacob lane in Carmichael, CA at bike access entrance at 10.30AM. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in participating.

Parents should attend the meeting after assembly on Oct 21st at Chinmaya Triveni to get more details so that the logistics can be finalized.
