Hanuman Jayanthi

Swamins, Brahmacharins and Members of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide

Dear All,

Hari Om!

Shri Hanumanji is known to be Chiranjeevi i.e. immortal. He is also known for being instrumental in reviving Lakshmanji by bringing the Sanjeevani herb at the time of need. Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda inspired us all to invoke Hanumanji and keep Him as our ideal.

Shri Hanuman Jayanti provides us an opportunity to invoke His blessings for the well-being of the world as we are dealing with Covid-19. ‘Sanjeevan Hanuman’ is such an initiative by Chinmaya Mission, open for anyone who wishes to pray fervently, positively and energetically.

From 9.30pm (IST) on 7th April 2020 until 9.30pm (IST) on 8th April 2020, let us all come together online to offer 24 hours of Shri Hanuman Chalisa chanting, for the well-being of all, with Hanumanji-like devotion, enthusiasm and the spirit of seva.

The chanting will happen in a relay style with lead singing happening via Zoom, and each country will be given a slot. One can view and sing along via the Chinmaya Channel on YouTube. Please do participate wholeheartedly.

Please share the attached image of Sanjeevan Hanuman with one and all, as widely as you possibly can, whether your contacts are associated with Chinmaya Mission or not, as our prayers are for the benefit of the maximum. Even though we are physically distanced, let us remain devotionally connected.

At any given time, if at least 3000 people are viewing and chanting together, there will be over a million chants of Hanuman Chalisa via this Sanjeevan Hanuman initiative. Just think of the positive energy that this will generate!

Let us together offer all our love and prayers to Hanumanji on Hanuman Jayanti, with faith and devotion, praying for the entire world. As it is said in Hanuman Chalisa, “nasai rog harai sab peera.”

Love,

At His Feet,

Swaroopananda
